Dear Bert & Vinnie Michael and I want to thank you for doing such an excellent job at Jennifer and Brad's wedding on October 11, 2009. The DJ is the most important part of the wedding and you both did an outstanding job keeping everyone dancing all evening. The pictures you took and posted on your website are fantastic and it was so exciting to see them right away. I'm sorry I didn't get to speak to you at the end of the evening, but I was upstairs in the brides room packing everything up and didn't realize you had left already. We will recommend you highly to anyone we know that is looking for a great DJ. Thank you for spending so much time with Jen and Brad to make their day so special. The older relatives loved all the Italian music at the beginning and the bride and groom had a fantastic time dancing right until the end! Even the "Boston crowd" thought it was a fantastic time.

Scott & I would like to thank you for the amazing experience we had on October 18, 2009.
Sal was in touch with me making sure that we were in agreement of the songs I selected & if I had any other ideas of what I wanted to hear. I was very precise as to what I wanted so there wasn't a lot of room for change!
Pete took so many pictures & we were so impressed with the quality of photos he got. I work at the Hartford Insurance Co. in Southington, CT & I can list at least 4 people who work here that have used After hours in the past year alone.
We couldn't be happier with the day we had or with the choices we made. We met with Bert in January 2008 & knew by the style of the professional contract we received that we were not looking at any other DJ.

as you promised. All the guests had such a good time dancing that nobody

again! And for any other brides to be out there, if you want to have a
reception that everyone keeps talking about; After Hours is THE place
for you. Weddings are expensive and you can cut some corners, but DO NOT
try it with the DJ's. They are the life of the party and you need 2
DJ's, one just won't do. Bert & Peter were very reliable, professional

How do we thank you and Peter for the great job you did for our daughters' weddings. Peter out did himself at Abby's in spite of being sick, and way even better at Tammy's. Everybody was on the dance floor all night at both weddings. We danced the night away. Everyone even did the chicken dance! All the pictures show what a fantastic time everyone had. Abby's wedding's on June 16 was so great, I was really concerned that we wouldn't be able to duplicate it for Tammy on December 8. Peter did it! Thanks for all the little extras - especially the snowflake machine for Tammy's wedding. Watching people dance outside in December on the snowflake was very special! And for Abby's Wedding, moving the setup out, then in then out again because it rained, but they really wanted to dance outside, was above and beyond.

YOU FOR SENDING PETER TO OUR RECEPTION!!! HE WAS FANTASTIC!!
Please tell him how much we loved him and how pleased we were with all
of his great tricks and entertainment!!! When I think of that
Chicken Dance and how he got everyone up thinking it was gonna be some
cute Jewish Dance, then had all the guys with their pant legs rolled up
and doing the chicken dance----ESP THE GROOM WHO REFUSED TO DANCE---I am
still laughing!!!! Everyone commented to us what a great DJ we
had! Many took the cards on display also. Again, we can't thank
you enough for providing the best entertainment we could have had at our
daughter's wedding brunch! We will surely recommend you to anyone
looking for the BEST DJ EVER!!!!

First and foremost, I
wanted to extend a tremendous thank you for After Hours not only making
our special day superb through music, but for being an outstanding help
and support throughout the year of planning and then especially
throughout the entire day/evening...the event altogether.
Peter was, and surely
is, amazingly wonderful. I applaud him for being available to
Scott and I every second during the wedding. He was even willing to
get us a cocktail, any man who offers that is a friend of mine :)
In all honesty, looking back, I am not sure if anyone else could have
stepped up to the plate as Peter did, keeping us in tuned with every
next move etc. I am doing my best, but I truly do not think I can
explain enough about how happy we were with him. I did not get to
personally meet the DJ Assistant, but heck he was fab too!! I saw him
with the camera and the pics on your site are awesome. I am not
certain if it is norm for you to provide them to your clients.
Like most brides/females, I am picture-happy, and welcome (sometimes
harass -kidding) for all pictures. With the wedding happening so
quickly, I missed a great deal of course....the day was so magical, it
stole my memory! If possible, we would love copies of the pictures
on your site.
Lastly, we are pleased with
the entire service of After Hours DJ, we even love and have listened to
the CD since coming home Sunday from our honeymoon. Scott batted
an eye to "It's Raining Men" being played, but I didn't list it on the
"Do Not Play", so he is getting over it :) I have already talked
you up as a vendor, and consider me some free publicity...I know how to
PR for sure. All the best to you, and cheers to a success!

You both did such a great job making our day a breeze. Peter was
fantastic with organizing the bridal party for the announcement into the
reception room. Mike and I didn't have a care in the world during
the reception because you two kept the party going so smoothly!
The music was great, the
father/daughter and mother/son dances were fantastic and I have never
seen ALL 150 guests at a wedding dancing at the SAME TIME - that was
amazing! You are both great at what you do and Mike and I cannot
thank you enough......we would do it all over again tomorrow in a
heartbeat.

Chris and I wanted to
express our sincere thanks to both Sal and Nicole. They kept our
crowd dancing and having a great time until the very end. Sal and
Nicole did an excellent job and as soon as something went wrong, Sal was
there trying to fix it...smoothing the edges. He was very calm,
cool and collected, went with the flow. Thank you also for the CD
of the tunes we used for our wedding. It's great to have that and
especially nice to be able to have the voiceovers for our parents.
Having also the extra pictures Sal and Nicole have taken is an added

I know this is a little
late...but I'm just writing to let you know what a great job you guys
did at our wedding reception and ceremony. Peter was amazing!!!
It's a good thing he was there to give Josh some words of wisdom (or to
hold him in place so he didn't go running off) before the ceremony, Josh
& I greatly appreciate it : ) We really appreciated that Peter
took pictures of everything, we actually got your pictures before we
received any thing from our photographer. And the CD of all of our
songs was a very nice surprise!!
Before the wedding I was so
scared that no one was going to have any fun, or everyone was going to
be too shy to get up and dance, but that never happened, people
(including me) were on the dance floor till the end. I especially
loved the conga line...surprisingly. I do have advise for any
brides thinking about doing the conga line... don't do it with a beer
bottle in your hand...you'll give a few of your wedding guests
concussions : )
Thank you soooo much for
making our wedding amazing...not just the music!! Everyone that
was at the wedding has been asking for your information, and I have been
recommending you to anyone that needs a DJ, even if they are complete
strangers!!

Kristen Roberts & Andrew Binder Married June, 17, 2006 - Reception, Waterview, Monroe, CT Dear Bert & Vinnie - My husband and I were married on a June afternoon and used after hours for our reception. We didn't know what to expect as far as participation since the reception started at noon, well let me tell you... Bert had that floor packed from end to end the entire time! Its such a pleasure for us to look at our wedding pictures and see the great time that our guests had at the wedding, after the wedding we received numerous thank yous from our guests talking about the great time they had at our reception... Bert and Vinnie did an amazing job! In the weeks leading up to our big day Bert took the time to ask about us and our relationship, than he incorporated funny stories that we had told him in passing, into our reception making it a very personal event. As it is After Hours offers extremely fair rates, and at those rates they are a STEAL. Not only did they provide us with an amazing reception, but Vinnie took a ton of pictures and posted them to the afterhoursdj.com website so our guests could see pictures the very next morning! Our guests got such a kick out of it...The single most important factor at your reception is the DJ and After Hours made our reception a smash hit. There were guests of every age range dancing their hearts out and everyone commented on what great DJ's we had. I highly recommend Bert and Vinnie to anyone planning a party, but especially a wedding, you will thank your lucky stars to have had the opportunity to work with such professionals. |

Jonathan & Jessica Kiang Married June 4, 2006 - Reception, Chez Josef - Agawam, CT Bert & Vinnie, We wanted to thank you and Vinnie for doing a fantastic job DJing our wedding on June 4, 2006! You guys were professional, organized, and entertaining! Our dance floor was packed all night and everyone had a great time! We received many compliments on your music selection, enthusiasm, and how smoothly things ran during the evening. As a nervous bride, I appreciated that I was kept informed all evening of the upcoming events (cake cutting, anniversary dance, etc), but I didn't feel bothered or interrupted. I will never forget being introduced by you for the first time, or the funny way you handled my small cousin catching the bouquet and my older adult brother catching the garter! My husband and I enjoyed the evening as much as our guests and we danced until our getaway car was honking at us to get moving! The next morning we awoke to a fantastic surprise: your photos were already up on the web! They were the first we had seen of the wedding, and we left for our honeymoon with those pictures in our minds. Once again, our deepest gratitude for being fun and professional!
